Registration and a call for abstracts is now open for the American Water Resources Association-Alaska Chapter’s Conference, “Water Resource Remote Sensing Applications in Alaska”.  The conference will be held in Fairbanks on May 13-May 15, 2015.  Please see the conference website for more details:

The conference will be a mixture of Keynote Speakers, hands-on workshops, catered poster sessions, and field trips focused on remote sensing applications in water resources research and managment.  A number of field trips have also been organized to sites around Fairbanks hosted by experts in water resources and remote sensing.

There will be a limited number of student travel scholarships and poster awards!  Please see the website for more details.

Remote sensing has tremendous application in Alaska!  This conference will provide great information for all levels of interest and application.
